Gift Acceptance Policy
The Fund for New York City Public Schools solicits and accepts gifts and grants for purposes that will help fulfill its mission of attracting private investment in school innovation and encouraging greater involvement by all New Yorkers in the education of our children.
Gift Acceptance Policy
Donations will generally be accepted from individuals, partnerships, corporations, foundations or other entities.
The Fund for New York City Public Schools will accept donations of money, marketable securities and in-kind services.
Certain types of gifts may be reviewed prior to acceptance. Examples of a gift subject to review include gifts of real property, gifts of personal property and gifts of real estate. Criteria for acceptable gifts is primarily based upon whether the property is readily marketable, so that it can be converted to cash and used to fund New York City Public Schools programs.
