Aurelia Aceves Hogan
Chief of Staff
Aurelia joined the Fund for New York City Public Schools as the Chief of Staff in 2022. In her role, she serves as a core member of the leadership team, facilitates organization decision-making and communication, and drives strategic partnership with NYC Public Schools. Aurelia brings over a decade of experience working at the nexus of the non-profit, private, and public sectors. Previously she was Director, Client Services at Public Works Partners, a public sector consulting firm in New York City, where she led strategic and business planning projects to support the organizational health of non-profits, built partnerships between NYC government agencies and community-based organizations, and designed and implemented research projects and evaluations to assess program effectiveness. Prior to Public Works Partners, Aurelia was a research associate at MDRC where she focused on understanding the best practices of comprehensive community initiatives and exemplar education partnerships between high schools, community colleges, and 4-year institutions. Aurelia earned her bachelor’s degree in her home state of California at Santa Clara University, and completed her master’s degree in public administration at CUNY-Baruch College, Marxe School of Public and International Affairs. Aurelia is a proud program alum of National Urban Fellows and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute.
